Activities

8:00 am: Morning "Club Ride" with Central Indiana Bicycling Association. Starts from Major Taylor Velodrome. Route lengths vary from around 16 to 60 miles. Marked route, map/cue sheet, SAG support, and food stops (bananas, cookies and water) are provided. Free and open to the public.

Location: Major Taylor Velodrome, 3649 Cold Spring Road, Indianapolis
Directions to Start: Take I-465 to the west side of Indianapolis. Take 38th Street exit east
about four miles to Cold Spring Road. Go south on Cold Spring to the Velodrome entrance.
Ride Description: 17, 35 and 52 miles - Warm up before the evening NITE Ride! Rural roads on the northwest side of Indianapolis. A few short, steep hills will challenge your legs on the Medium and Long rides. The short ride follows the White River Greenway through Broad Ripple Village and Butler University.

5:00 -7:30 pm: Dinner Ride! Ride length is about 19 miles; starts & ends at IUPUI’s Carroll Stadium; maps and Ride Leaders are provided; dinner on your expense during the ride. IUPUI’s Carroll Stadium; maps and Ride Leaders are provided; dinner on your expense during the ride.

Afternoon and Evening: Come Downtown and see the beautiful IUPUI campus, enjoy the Indy Greenways and the new Cultural Trail, visit museums, watch an IMAX movie, stroll the Indianapolis Zoo, take in an Indianapolis Indians AAA Baseball game, shop Circle Center Mall and more!
